Somos las teachers de ingl\u00e9s (again) enviando el\ntrabajo pr\u00e1ctico n\u00ba 7.&nbsp; Esperamos que\nest\u00e9n muy bien, cuid\u00e1ndose y cuid\u00e1ndonos en casa. \u00a1VAMOS QUE YA FALTA MENOS!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>En este\ntrabajo pr\u00e1ctico vamos a seguir trabajando comprensi\u00f3n de textos en ingl\u00e9s,\ntrabajando con las <strong>palabras\ntransparentes<\/strong> que ya reconocimos en los trabajos anteriores y &nbsp;vamos a empezar a identificar frases,\npalabras, nombres, n\u00fameros que nos ayudar\u00e1n a saber si un texto est\u00e1 en\npresente, pasado o futuro. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Actividades propuestas<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\u00bfSaben que hay una calle en nuestra ciudad que lleva el nombre de Dra\nTeresa Ratto? \u00bfSaben por qu\u00e9? \u00bfConocen por qu\u00e9 se destac\u00f3, por qu\u00e9 es conocida?<\/li><li>Los invitamos a leer el texto en ingl\u00e9s enviado con el objetivo de\nencontrar y hacer una lista de las palabras transparentes que les brindar\u00e1n\nmucha informaci\u00f3n. (recuerden que las palabras transparentes son muy parecidas\no iguales a nuestro idioma)<\/li><li>\u00bfQu\u00e9 palabras, nombres, n\u00fameros les indican que este texto est\u00e1 escrito\nen tiempo pasado?<\/li><li>Busquen en el diccionario las siguientes palabras conceptuales que les\nampliar\u00e1n los datos y aclarar\u00e1n m\u00e1s la tem\u00e1tica tratada.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>-forerunner:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-bachelor:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-degree:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-outbreak:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4- \u00bfPuedes encontrar el\nnombre de dos importantes enfermedades en el texto?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\u00bfC\u00f3mo traducir\u00edas estas expresiones que son muy importantes para\nentender el contenido del texto?<\/li><li>Women\u00b4s rights:<\/li><li>all-male school:<\/li><li>Para poder identificar qu\u00e9 pudieron comprender del texto en ingl\u00e9s, les\npedimos que intenten buscar la informaci\u00f3n que les permita aprender todas las\ncosas que hizo Teresa por primera vez, cosas que estaban prohibidas para las\nmujeres de esa \u00e9poca. <\/li><li>Por ultimo, los invitamos a compartir con nosotras brevemente la\nbiograf\u00eda de una mujer que les parezca importante para nuestra historia local,\nprovincial, nacional o mundial.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a1Esperamos sus respuestas por classroom, mail,\nwhatsapp!!!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sabrina, Viviana y Carolina<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Teresa Ratto (1877-1906)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Teresa Ratto was born in Concepci\u00f3n del Uruguay in the province of Entre\nR\u00edos, Argentina on February 13th, 1877. She was a forerunner for women\u2019s rights\nin Argentina, and in her short life achieved many \u201cfirsts\u201d in South America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the age of 15, Ratto received the title of National Normal Teacher at\nthe Escuela Normal de Concepci\u00f3n del Uruguay. She then decided to continue her\neducation and petitioned rector Jos\u00e9 Benjam\u00edn Zubiaur of the Colegio del\nUruguay \u2018Justo Jos\u00e9 de Urquiza,\u2019 to allow her to enter the all-male school. She\nbecame the first woman accepted at the Colegio del Uruguay, and in 1895, she\nwas the first woman to receive her bachelor\u2019s degree from that institution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After receiving her bachelor\u2019s degree, she went to Buenos Aires to study\nmedicine at the Universidad Nacional de Buenos Aires. In 1903, she received her\ndegree in medicine and became the second female doctor in Argentina, and the\nfirst from Entre R\u00edos. While at the Universidad Nacional de Buenos Aires, she\nbecame a member of the first Centro de Estudiantes in Argentina and began one\nof the first feminist organizations, the Centro de Universitarias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After medical school, Ratto became the head of vaccination at the\nAsistencia Publica of Buenos Aires and assisted patients during outbreaks of\ndiphtheria and smallpox. She later returned to Concepci\u00f3n del Uruguay to\npractice medicine, where she died on April 2, 1906 of peritonitis.
